Spring in Deep Cove! A few weeks ago, we decided that we would conquer Mount Seymour (elevation gain 830m, avg gradient 7.4 %) for the first time this year on our bikes. Coming from the relatively flat terrain of Southern Ontario, it always amazes me to experience how altitude can drastically change weather conditions. At the bottom of the climb it was a typical spring day, and I was taking layers of clothing off before we set out for our climb.

On one of our rides to Horseshoe Bay, we met up with a great group of cyclists who are training for the Just-Giver Supercycle in August. The Just-Giver Supercycle is a mass charity ride meant to kick off a further seven-day journey from Vancouver to Cranbrook, BC.
