Glotman•Simpson Cycling provides a number of opportunities for training depending on your goals and skill levels.  Perhaps you are preparing for a charity ride, learn how to race better or perhaps  work you way up to Cat 1/2.  

Training Services

We provide opportunities for members to improve their fitness and skill set

  1. Club rides - we offer 4 different club rides, three on Saturday (A, B and C) and one on Sunday.  Depending on your goals and fitness level you should be able to find a ride that suits your purpose
  2. Cycling Clinics - We offer clinics to help club members improve their ability to effortlessly dance up hills and handle their bike like a pro
    1. Wednesday Night Hill Climbs - Get both an amazing workout and learn how to defeat gravity with our  twice-monthly clinic focused. 
    2. Thursday Night Skill Sessions - Learning how to ride in a group, or corner your road bike correctly can take years to master.  Why struggle on your own when we have a number of qualified coaches and instructors to help you get up to speed!
  3. Fall Spin classes - tired of riding in the rain?  A tough indoor spin session may just be what you need.
  4. Individual time trials- One of the best ways to measure improvement over a season is to conduct a series of standardized tests to track improvement.  As such we periodically conduct a 10 km TT out and back at Iona so that club members may track progress.
